Spring

(SEPTEMBER – OCTOBER – NOVEMBER)

Blossoms & New Growth

Spring is one of our favourite seasons. Beautiful apple and pear blossoms abound. The bees are doing their magic by pollinating the trees, leaves are growing and fruit is forming. A stunning time to be in the orchard.

Summer

(DECEMBER – JANUARY – FEBRUARY)

Plum & Pear Harvest

The summer months mean harvest time! Early varieties of plums, pears and apples are harvested in summer through early autumn. When the fruit is ripe, you can come down and pick your own. 

Autumn

(MARCH – APRIL – MAY)

Apple & Persimmon Harvest

Once the fruit has been harvested the leaves begin changing colours. You’ll see variations of gold, red and orange before the leaves fall off the tree. It’s time for the trees to recover and regenerate for the next season.

Winter

(JUNE – JULY – AUGUST)

Lemon & Orange Harvest

Winter is pruning time for the deciduous trees on the orchard. The coolness of the winter enables the next season’s fruit to set. But the winter months are still exciting. Our winter festival Fire, Fable & Feast is when we bless the apple trees, scare away the evil spirits and bring in a good harvest.
